The Short Version

Reading the Site, Signed Out

Page counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It counts page views without setting a cookie, without a device fingerprint, and without building a profile that follows you to any other site. We see how many people read a page. We do not see which people.

Your realm. When you choose a realm, the site remembers it so it does not have to ask again on the next page. It is a setting you chose, not a record of you, and it is not attached to any identity. Clearing your browser data clears it.

Search. We do not keep a record of what you searched for: not per person, not at all. The one exception is deliberate and worth stating plainly: searches that returned nothing are logged as text, with nothing attached that identifies who typed them. No account, no session, no address. That list is a list of content this site is missing, written by its readers, and it is the only reason we log anything about search at all.

Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs (the kind every web server keeps), including IP addresses, for security and abuse handling. We do not read them for any other purpose and we do not join them to anything else.

Signing In

Signing in is optional. Everything on this site except your own saved work is readable without an account.

We use Discord to sign you in, and we ask for the identify scope only. There is no password on this site, so there is no password for us to lose. Discord's own consent screen is the authoritative statement of what we ask for. If it and this page ever disagree, believe Discord's screen.

That is the whole list. We do not store an email address, we do not store your Discord friends, servers, or messages, and we do not have access to them.

Your avatar comes from Discord. When you are signed in, your browser fetches the avatar image directly from Discord's servers, so Discord can see that request. If that matters to you, signing out stops it.

One cookie. A session cookie keeps you signed in. It exists for that and nothing else, it is what the law calls strictly necessary, and it is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you about.

Where It Is Kept, and for How Long

The site and its database run on Cloudflare, which processes and stores this data on our behalf and may hold it on servers in the United States and elsewhere.

We keep your data until you delete it. There is no expiry and no archive.

Deleting your account deletes everything above: the identity, the characters, the loadouts, the lists. It is on your account page, it takes effect immediately, and you do not need to ask us. Our host keeps short-lived routine backups of the database as a whole, the way any host does; deleted data ages out of those on its own, and we do not restore from them to bring anything back.

Aggregate counts that were never attached to you in the first place (page views, the zero-result search list) are unaffected, because there is nothing in them to find.

What You Can Ask For

See it. Everything we hold about you is on your account page. There is nothing behind it.

Take it. Ask in our Discord server and we will send you a machine-readable copy of your characters, loadouts, and lists.

Change it. Edit or delete any of it yourself, on the site.

Delete it. Delete account, on your account page.

Object, or complain. If you are in the UK or the EU, you can complain to your data protection authority. You are welcome to raise it with us first.

On what basis we hold it. You gave us your Discord identity by choosing to sign in, and we hold your characters and lists because you asked the site to keep them for you, which is the whole purpose of an account here. Security logs and aggregate counts rest on our interest in keeping the site up and knowing what is missing from it, which is why neither is tied to a person.

If you are in California: we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no advertising on this site.
